Traditional Newspaper Printing
Traditional offset printing is best for large jobs like newspaper. Offset printing is an efficient way to print on newsprint paper, saving our customers time and money. Most of the newspapers you’ll see at a commercial newsstand are printed using the traditional process.
When printing on newsprint, the two most common newspaper sizes are broadsheet (17” x 22.75″) and tabloid (11.375” x 17”).
We offer newspaper printing on several different paper weights to perfectly fit your publication’s intentions.
With black and white or 4+ color printing, we’re available to bring your newsprint project to life, printed to your exact design specs – and shipped for free nationwide.
Custom Newspaper Printing
While standard newspaper sizes are the right fit for many, the ability to customize your newspaper’s dimensions truly allows you to make your publication unique.
We can bring your visions to life by offering saddle stitching and perfect binding options for newspaper booklets all the way up to tabloid size.
Thomas Group Printing offers support for specialty sizes, whether in our common mini formats or through the creation of fully custom, bespoke pieces. We commonly produce bound newspaper booklets in these custom newspaper sizes:
- 8” x 10.5”
- 6” x 9”
- 6.5” x 9.5”
- 7.5” x 10”
Tabloid size 11.375” x 17” (and additional custom tabloid sizes like 11” x 13”, 11” x 14”, and 11” x 15”) can be bound or folded. Broadsheet size comes folded hot off the press.

All standard Tabloid and Broadsheet sizes are No Bleed only. Broadsheet supports 2, 4, 6, or 8 pages. Tabloid supports 4–32 pages in multiples of four. Custom sizes and quantities over 1,000 are available by quote.
