If you’re designing a poster, our print design starter files are a great place to start. Each file is pre-sized to a common poster size and formatted to the specs needed to accurately print your work, which helps avoid common print errors like incorrectly set bleed or canvas size.

Specs (quick reference)

Bleed

Add 0.125" (1/8") on all sides unless your product specs say otherwise.

Safe area

Keep critical text and logos at least 0.125" inside the trim line.

Export settings (what actually matters)

  • Include bleed on export. Use crop marks only if requested.
