How Do You Japan Booklet

Booklet pricing

What we love about this booklet example:

We recently partnered with Japan Society to produce a brochure that’s all about clean design and subtle details. The combination of a 100# silk cover and 80# uncoated text paper creates a contrast that feels just right – sleek and smooth on the outside with a soft, tactile finish on the inside.

The saddle stitching, paired with a 4″ roll fold-out cover, adds an interactive touch, making the piece not just informative, but also engaging. The Gloss Spot UV on the cover adds a bit of shine that catches the eye without overpowering the design.

Production notes for interactive cultural booklets

Booklets with specialty covers need close coordination between the reader experience and the production plan. This Japan Society piece combines a silk cover, uncoated text pages, saddle stitching, a roll fold-out cover, and gloss spot UV for a compact but interactive printed experience.

For similar cultural, museum, and event booklets, we review fold-out dimensions, coating placement, page count, paper contrast, binding order, and whether the finished piece needs to travel in envelopes or event packets. Those checks protect both the tactile reveal and the practical handoff.
